Todd is currently in his 1st year as the Head Coach at the new Murrieta Mesa H.S in Murrieta, CA, and is the Assistant Coach at San Diego Christian College in El Cajon, CA.
For the past 3 years, Todd has had the honor of being selected as one of 5 coaches in southern California to be a part of the SCVA HP Program. The High Performance Program is run by former 2 time Olympian, and University of California Irvine Head Coach Paula Weishoff. The Southern California Select and Youth regional teams competed in the High Performance Championships in Tucson, AZ against other regional, inter-national and USA Select teams across the nation (click here for more info).
Todd Also brings his speed and agility knowledge to his clubs. He has implemented Plyometrics into his programs and has seen amazing results. Trained by Mike Rangle (Misty May and Kerri Walsh's conditioning coach), he has helped his players/teams elevate their game to the next level.
According to Todd, his biggest accomplishment was when he married Tiffany, his wife of 17 years. They have two children, Brittany (17), and Brendan (12).
Si Doan
Si Doan has been coaching and playing since the 1980's. He started coaching in Orange County and discovered a need for a volleyball program in the Inland Empire. Moving to Temecula, Si and a partner started Viper Volleyball Club. Since leaving Viper, Si went to coach at Saddleback Volleyball Club in Irvine, California, and was there for over 8 years. Si, then went to Laguna Beach Volleyball Club and was there until he joined the military in 2004.
In 2005, Si volunteered to serve in Iraq instead of some of his fellow soldiers with familes having to go. Since then, he has served 2 tours in Iraq and will be going on a peace keeping mission in Kosovo in the near future.
In his off time, Si has been helping at various clubs and high schools when it does not conflict with his training duties.

Kayla Wright
Kayla has been playing volleyball since she was 8 years old. Kayla started out playing club all the way until Her senior year at Murrieta Valley High School. As a freshman, she was on JV, then her following 3 years was on Varsity. During her Junior year in High School, Kayla was selected as one of the top beach players in southern California to participate in the High Performance Beach Program. Kayla was a four-year letter winner at Murrieta Valley High School in Murrieta, Calif. As a senior in 2004, earned Second TeamAll-Area and First Team All-Southwestern League honors ... was also chosen team MVP and named to the All-Tournament Team at the Nighthawk Classic ...earned All-Area and all-league honors in 2002 and 2003 ... was a CIF All-Academic selection from 2001-2005.
Kayla ended up getting a full ride volleyball scholarship to Cal State Northridge where she played for 4 years at the Division 1 level. Kayla was also co-captain for 3 of her 4 years there. While at Northridge. Kayla Wright was one of two Matador players, to appear in all 31 matches and 117 games ... her senior season ranked third in Northridge history with 2,240 career assists ... recorded a team-high 757 assists (6.47 per game) as a junior which ranked ninth in the Big West ... was named to the Big West Academic All-Conference team for the second consecutive year.
Kayla learned a lot about leadership, hard work, teammwork, and self discipline through playing volleyball pretty much her whole life, but one of the big things she has learned is that if you dont love the game and arent willing to put in the effort to be the best you can be, then you shouldnt play, especially at the higher levels. After college Kayla moved home and then found herself becoming an assistant freshman volleyball coach at Murrieta Mesa High School, which just opened the 2009-10 school year. Coaching has been a great way for her to pass down her knowledge she has gained over her many years of playing. She is looking forward to going to practices and loves watching the players grow from the beginning of the season to the end.
Renn Sabio
Pastor Ren Sabio was a “baseball guy” until he was a junior in high school. Making fun of volleyball, he was challenged by his trigonometry teacher to come out for the team. Realizing that volleyball was a “real” sport, he became a proponent of the game and hung up his cleats. That was back in 1980.
Coach Sabio played setter in high school and in college (United States Merchant Marine Academy, Long Island, New York). He won numerous awards during his playing days. He was a Student Assistant at California State University, Dominguez Hills (Division II) under Coach Connie LaBuhn in the late 80’s. He has been the Girls’ Freshman Volleyball Coach for Vista Murrieta High School (Murrieta, CA) the last four years, serving under Head Coach Kristen Robarts. He has seen his freshmen girls steadily advance into the Jr. Varsity and Varsity teams at Vista Murrieta.
Coach Sabio has been involved with Premier Volleyball Club since 2005 and helped coach Premier’s 17s boys’ team. Coach Sabio is married to Leah Sabio. They have five sons: Wes, Aaron, Nick, David, and Josh.
Coach Sabio is also the Lead Pastor at Inland Valley Victory Church in Temecula, CA. He grows plumerias as a hobby and enjoys playing with his St. Bernard’s.
Dan Heneger
"Pastor Dan" has been with involved with Premier Volleyball Club since our beginning in 2004. His love for the Lord has helped enrich everyones lives he comes into contact with. In the past, Dan has not had the time necessary to devot to being a Head Coach, and was happy helping out when it didn't conflict with his duties at the Church. This year, we are very excited to have him be able to be one of our Head Coaches.
As an athlete, Dan's many talents shined through. Known in High School as multi-Sport Athlete, Dan accepted a Golf Scholarship at a Christian University. During his time of being part of one of the leading golf programs in the nation, Dan developed his love for the Lord and decided to dedicate his life to being a Youth Pastor.
Wesley Sabio
This is Wesley’s first season coaching for Premier. Having been out of the area for the last couple years, he is excited to be back. Wesley played for Premier back in 2005, apart of Premier’s first boys team. He played on the 18-1s for two seasons before graduating high school and attending Cal State Fullerton.
At CSUF, Wesley was a Kinesiology Major and played on the Men’s Club Team for two seasons. He played on the team that reached a program best, a #4 ranking in California. Being undersized at his position of Outside Hitter, he is a testament to the saying that, “Hard Work pays off.” During his first season at Fullerton, Wesley was the only Freshman on the starting squad and in his last season on the team Wesley won the Coach’s Award.
In addition to being a full-time student and player at CSUF, Wesley also coached at all three levels at Beckman High School in Irvine, CA and at TCA Volleyball club in Fountain Valley, CA, often coaching multiple teams at a time. At Beckman, Wesley had the privilege of coaching two of Volleyball Magazine’s “Fab 50 Volleyball Players” and at TCA, his 16-1s team reached the Junior Olympics, a feat no one expected for the first year club team.
Most recently, Wesley has just finished up coaching his first season at Vista Murrieta HS coaching the JV Squad. They had a very successful season finishing 2nd in the league with an overall record of 11-3.
Putting his career goals on hold, Wesley currently attends Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA and is simply being open to wherever God leads. He is serving as one of the Young Adult leaders at Inland Valley Victory Church and can see a possibility of him in ministry down the line. In his free time Wesley enjoys hanging out with friends, rock-climbing, bouldering, playing guitar, reading, and traveling.
In a nutshell, Wesley is excited to see how much his team will accomplish this season. Go Premier!
